During the peak of covid this animation helped explain how 25% of adults with IBD started showing symptoms before the age of 20. It was used as a story telling method along with a virtual platform that could be shared amongst health care providers. These episodes acted as a mechanism to inform other HCP without doctors present. The dialogue went under med review and was approved to be used in the following animations.
Kevin tells his story…
Our main character, Kevin, emerged as a pivotal figure in this narrative, navigating the labyrinthine journey of diagnosis and treatment. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Kevin persevered, ultimately securing consultations with healthcare professionals to obtain a diagnosis and commence treatment.
His tenacity and resilience underscored the significance of timely medical intervention in managing conditions like IBD, exemplifying the crucial role of patient advocacy in healthcare. Kevin's story served as a beacon of hope, illustrating the importance of access to healthcare services and the transformative impact of effective diagnosis and treatment on individuals grappling with chronic illnesses.
